United Way of Metro Chicago’s biggest yearly fundraising event is the Stronger Neighborhood Awards. At this annual luncheon, they bring in millions of dollars from donors. United Way wanted to give an overview of the event for their audience and potential donors who couldn’t attend. and as a thank you to their donors.
Galas and live event videos can very easily be turned into something bland. We opted to avoid any traditional event coverage tropes and focus on what was important to United Way, the people. We wanted the video to reflect United Way’s warmth and appreciation while also highlighting key moments of the event.
In addition to being on-site for the event, this video also required a fast turnaround for post-production, turning around the final video in under a week!
